The World Championship 2017 will take place on 13-16th July 2017 at Salle Pullman in Paris, France.
This competition is not organised under the UKCA, but we encourage all UK competitors to go! It is unlikely we’ll have another World Championship so close to us for a long time so this is a fantastic opportunity to experience it.
There are a number of reasonable ways to reach Paris.
From London St. Pancras to Paris Gare-du-Nord takes 2:30. Prices are £45 one-way at cheapest, so book asap otherwise prices will rise. You can also travel from Ebbsfleet or Ashford.
There are numerous options from almost every UK airport. Check Google Flights or Skyscanner to search all airlines and possibilities at once. Flight time is just over 1 hour and prices are as cheap as £50-60 return at the moment but expect them to rise drastically nearer the time.
Note that there are 2 airports in Paris (Charles De Gaulle and Orly) and CDG appears to be more convenient for the venue.
You can drive and take your car on the Eurotunnel (Folkestone) or the Ferry (Dover) to Calais. Calais to Paris is around 3 hours drive.
