Philipp Weyer won the Weston-super-Mare Open 2017 with an average of 6.89 seconds. Cornelius Dieckmann finished second (7.44) and Eli Jay finished third (9.00).
UK Records: Robert Yau 6x6x6 Cube 1:47.61 (single), 7x7x7 Cube 2:50.61 (average), Fabio Schwandt Skewb 3.05 (average).

Congratulations to George Scholey for equalling UK National Record Skewb Average of 3.08 at UK Championship 2017! George says that he was happy to finally get a decent average and win the UK Championship again, however it’s still not good for him. He is hoping that he can get the World Record soon!

The UK Rubik’s Cube Championship 2017 was held on 27-29 October at The Forum, Stevenage. Just as he did in 2015 at the same venue, Robert Yau won with an average of 8.56 seconds. Alexander Lau, last year’s champion, finished second (8.57) and George Scholey finished third (8.87). The full list of podiums and national records set can be found on the UKCA competition page.
